京都西陣の本格つづれ織りの技術を活かした「漉かし織り」をアクセントに使用した屏風です。

「二重つづれ屏風」
漉かしつづれ織りを重ねて張り込んだ不思議な趣の屏風です。和紙には京都の黒谷和紙を使用しています。

「卓上型つづれ屏風」
六枡、四枡、二枡のフレームに京つづれと和紙とを市松に張り込んだ屏風です。本格「京つづれ」の味わいを身近にお楽しみ下さい。

It is a folding screen which utilizes Kyoto Nishijin’s technique of tsuzure tapestry, using “transparent weave” as an accent.

Futae Tsuzure Folding Screen

It is a folding screen in which Kyo-tsuzure and Japanese paper are laid in a checkered pattern on the frame of 6 squares, 4 squares, and 2 squares.
